Message On your obdii car, pin 2 on the F2 connector is the avenue through which the ac signal travels, rather than through the body harness as with the previous years (early years it runs all the way through the brown connector next to the under-hood fuse box). Essentially, you want to depin pin 2 from the old f2 connector from your 96 EFI harness, cut off the wire and splice it to the ecu output from your new older-style efi harness (the sky blue wire that should run from the harness to the brown connector by the fuse box, you want to cut from the ecu source and splice into pin 2 of f2). So where your new harness sends the ac signal from the ecu to the brown connector, it should instead be sent through the f2 pin 2 wire.

Also, Cliff mentioned that "AC compressor wire OBDI pin 46 needs to output to OBDI wire 47 (wire 47 should go to the AC compressor switch). I still haven't discovered what pin/wire 47 does on an OBDI ECU as it is not mentioned in the 95 service manual." I believe he means that the output from ecu pin 46 needs to go to wherever pin 47 goes, so cut and splice the output from pin 46 into the wire from pin 47, leaving the output from pin 47 open.
